Achievement Awards 2009
If you know of someone whose personal achievement deserves recognition, why not nominate them for an IET Achievement Award and demonstrate how highly you rate their skills and contribution to the workplace?
Please note that, when making a nomination, you do not need to select a particular award from the list below (the IET Awards Committee will ensure that awards are allocated as appropriate).
IET Lifetime Achievement Award
This award is the IET's highest accolade and entitles the recipient to distribute £10,000 to each of five outstanding young engineers or technologists for the purpose of accelerating or extending work that aims to benefit humankind.
IET Achievement Medals
Awarded to individuals who have made major contributions in the various sectors of engineering and technology.
Mountbatten, Oliver Lodge and J J Thomson Medals
Recognise a significant contribution in the field of either electronics or information technology.
Awards for young professionals & students
This range of awards reward young engineering, IT and manufacturing professionals, students and apprentices for outstanding career progress and exceptional achievement in industry or for the profession.
Premium Awards
For outstanding papers published in IET publications.
