This extensive project was set up with funding from the Technology Strategy Board to bring together a wide range of UK companies and research and technical organisations, specialising in magnetics, with the objective of increasing the operating range and efficiency of magnetic materials and electric machines applied to the aerospace and automotive industries. The seminar will cover the research carried out in all the work packages of the project and will set out the advances made in materials, measurement and modelling software.
